• Obituary. Annie Ruth (Howard) Rowland, 81, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.
She was born on Saturday, March 19, 1932 in La France, SC, and was the daughter of John Wesley Howard and Lula (Nix) Howard.
Annie retired from Gallant Belk after many years of service as a sales associate in the Fine Jewelry Department.
Mrs. Rowland is survived by her husband, Marshall Allen Rowland, daughter, Marsha (Rowland) Browne, of Burlington, NC, brother, Charles Frank Howard, of Anderson, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Howard and Lula (Nix) Howard.
Annie married Marshall Allen Rowland, son of Vance Levi Rowland and Tommie Lucille Wilson.
