Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Twelfth Street Baptist Church for Mrs. Lora G. Redden, 81, Chestnut Street, Gadsden, who died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1993.
The Revs. Paul Murphy and Walter Thweatt will officiate.
Burial in Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Redden was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church and the Sunshine Singers. She was a member of Disabled Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and the Alabama City Chapter of Ladies of the Eastern Star. She was employed with Dwight Cotton Mill for 20 years and retired from Chickapee Manufacturing with 10 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Redden, and husband, Faucett Redden.
She is survived by son, Leon Redden, Gadsden; daughters, Mrs. Pauline Church, Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. Ruth West, Pontiac, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Cecil Ayers, Port Richey, Fla.; beloved son-in-law, Mr. Roy Church, Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Dixon, Joe Clay, Jackie Clay, Johnny Clay, Ed Clay, J.C. Clay, Jack Fox and Robbie Clay.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dinesh Parmar, Dr. Lucian Newman III, Dr. John Campbell and all personal friends.
