Dated December 01, 1860, William Lindley vs Martha Lindley who was Samuel's 4th wife. William Lindley, John Lindley, Elijah Lindley, Polly [Lindley] Little, (wife of Hiram Little) Martha [Lindley] Gibson, (wife of A. P. Gibson) Barsheba [Lindley] Sadler, (wife of John Sadler) Rachel [Lindley] Kelton are children of Samuel Lindley by a former wife named Elizabeth, who also left her surviving other children by the said Samuel, Viz: Samuel Lindley, Jr. (now deceased) and Elizabeth [Lindley] Collard, (now deceased then wife of Lemuel Collard) and Martha [Lindley] Tolbert, (now deceased), all of whom left heirs, and that said Elizabeth Lindley died in Texas in the Spring of 1838, interstate owning considerable community property with said Samuel Lindley. Samuel Lindley married widow Mrs. Martha Lindley, in November 1845.
