ANDERSON -- Gladys Jeanette Chambers Jennings, 75, of 122 Arbor Lane died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at her residence.
Born in Oconee County, she was a member of the H.M.D. Trike and Rod Club. She was a member of McDuffie Street Church of God.
Surviving are widower, Robert T. Jennings of the home; son, Robert Jennings of Anderson; daughter, Peggy Surls, Sara Fowler, Carol Gilbert, Cynthia West and Teresa Gaines, all of Anderson; brothers, Clyde Chambers of Greer, Roy Chambers and Clarence Chambers, both of Anderson; sister, Betty Stalnaker of Anderson; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late C.C. Chambers and Essie White Chambers. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Evans, Carrie Chambers and Florence Reid; and one grandchild.
Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Anderson, by the Revs. Steve Chambers, Bruce Chambers and Ken Anderson; burial will be in Forest Park Memorial Park Mausoleum, Anderson. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at The McDougald Funeral Home.
The family will be at the residence.
Gladys married Robert T. Jennings.
